Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter
With the help of our valued network of subbies and suppliers, JDV is assisting the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter to continue their essential support and crisis accommodation for women in danger from domestic violence, mental health issues, financial hardship and homelessness.
The Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter (NBWS) is a non-profit, non-government, charitable organisation whose services, are sadly, increasing in demand.
JDV have jumped on board to build a dedicated workspace for the committed team of volunteers & staff which will allow some desperately needed crisis accommodation to be freed-up. Partnering with local firm Careel Designs, all work has been offered pro-bono and the project is starting on-site immediately.
We know that hardship and homelessness doesn’t discriminate; it can happen to anyone. And with this in mind, we have given our full support to this project by reaching out to our dedicated subcontractors and friends to generously donate supplies and labour to this worthy and much needed cause.
