Following the successful completion of his orthopaedic medical suite in Norwest Private Hospital, JDV Projects were commissioned again by Professor Al Muderis to deliver Drummoyne Advanced, a multi-purpose facility for Orthopaedic, Surgical and Medical Specialist Services.
Professor Al Muderis is an orthopaedic surgeon, human-rights advocate and a clinical lecturer at Macquarie University and The Australian School of Advanced Medicine. He has done pioneering work on prosthetics, and oseointegration especially titanium devices.
In 2020, he was the NSW state recipient Australian of the Year.
This new facility in Sydney’s Inner West, provides 6 consultancy rooms, 3 booking rooms, triage area, pathology lab, Practice Manager’s office and reception and waiting area. The project was delivered via a comprehensive design and construct model, with JDV managing responsibility from initial project briefing to handover exactly on time and with zero adjustments to the contract value.
