The interior design reflects the Professor’s ethos of innovation and thinking outside the square.
Associate Professor Payal Mukerjee founded the Sydney ENT Hearing and Balance Centre and engaged JDV Projects to create her new consultancy rooms at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga. Delivered as a D & C model, the project was done in collaboration with the Professor who is one of Sydney’s leading adult and paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeons.
As a leader in surgery and research, Professor Mukerjee is the current head of department of ENT at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and is an advocate for social change with a passion about diversity and equity in surgery.
As an innovator, who embraces thinking outside the square. This philosophy was woven into the design with playful graphics and imagery to welcome patients and imbue as sense of calm with articulated height to the reception counter to create a more approachable entrance. Treatment rooms and ancillary areas are efficiently designed and supported by detailed joinery.
JDV Projects are proud to be working with esteemed professionals such as Professor Mukerjee who was awarded the Women in Leadership prize, RACS NSW in 2022.
